Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) magnets are currently the only permanent magnet material that combines high magnetic energy product, high coercivity and high remanence. They feature an extremely low temperature coefficient (-0.03%/℃) and can operate at elevated temperatures (up to 350℃) and low temperatures down to around -200℃. When the operating temperature exceeds 180℃, its maximum magnetic energy product, temperature stability and chemical stability are superior to NdFeB materials. SmCo magnets also offer excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, and are widely used in motors, instruments, sensors, detectors, various magnetic transmission devices and other high-tech fields.
